This is where Klimt was and still is.
I've been busy with other small stitching
and huge amounts of genealogy.
Hopefully things will slow down soon
and I will be back to stitching Klimt.

Oct 23

It has been a busy week and I've been plagued by Blogger.  It took me a couple of hours to get in this morning.  It seemed determine that I was to post to someone's else's blog.  Yuck.

Anyhow to get you up to speed.   Here is the more current stitching photo for LK Mystery Halloween Sampler:

Well, it is the bottom portion anyhow.

Here is yesterday's photo

It should show more overall

At least now you have some prospective.

I still have a few things to "clean up" inside the borders

Then I need to work on the outside border.

It might get done (stitching wise) for Halloween.

Definitely not framed.

AS of the evening of Oct 16th

I did a bunch of clean up - finished acorns, put leaves on the vine,

and now as of this evening of the 17th

Friday, October 16, 2020

I've been very busy with my genealogy lately.  I have posted my photos to the facebook group but not here.  So, here at several.

end of Day 13

End of Day 14

End of Day 15

One of the "tricks we are supposed to do during the 3rd week
is to watch our favorite Halloween movie.
I hate horror movies so my choices are mild
The above photos are while I was watching
THE MASK

The top 2 are from the beginning of the movie
Clearly identifying the movie
and you can sorta see my piece on the side.

The third one is one of my favorites.
The dog, Milo, wearing the mask

and now for the end of Day 16

I finished the acorns at the top, added the "leaves" to the vine,
finished two of the Square leafs
and added the pumpkin.

The pumpkin also fulfills the requirement to stitch in black,
orange or purple.
Last week's "trick"

Have a great day!

End of the day (3o minutes required) stitching for the 12th.

Sunday, October 11, 2020

Oct 11th - a bit behind.  Ah well, it happens.  It seems to be the way things go somedays.

This is the end of Day 10.
There is still more to go but not enough time.

I decided I needed a break
LK 3 part Halloween Mystery Sampler
My version
Not everything's there, colors might be different

The end of Day 11 (today)
So much more fun

Have a great upcoming week!

Start and end for day 9 - still the Mystery Sampler, October chart.

end of day 8

end of day 9

Thursday, October 8, 2020

Off schedule - Too much to do all on the same few days right now.

Day 8 - here is the end - the start and re-do were in the last post.

Now for Day 7
It was a finish.

This is where I left things at the end of May.
Not that much to go.

I needed a day away from the Mystery Sampler
and not the Acorn is finished.
I blocked my name - full name over 1

Correct title is A is for Acorn
by Hillside Samplings

I got it second-hand so the recommended button was not there and I found a new one.
I changed the squirrels to facing outward and out the date underneath
I also took out the Purple capital A and subbed a blackwork acorn & leaf.

I really enjoyed stitching this and now it is finally finished!
Just need to go see what kind of frame I can find.

DAy 6

Day 6 has been a humdinger.  Things need to go better tomorrow.

TO start off, I discovered an error.  I ended up ripping out almost to the start of yesterday's stitching.

The right side is what I stitched yesterday

you can more or less see what I ripped out.
So I took a different direction

The green shows what I ripped out
there is a pink line on the right to show the scope.

The pink squares colored in show what I stitched today.
Straight down the side (so to speak)

Today's work after ripping out.

I need a better tomorrow.

Day 3

A bit late in the day but here is the entry for day 3.

the start of day 3

the end of day 3
about 35 minutes of stitching
30 minutes is the minimum required

Friday, October 2, 2020

I am doing the Witchy Stitchy on facebook and decided if I can post there most days then I can do it here as well.

So, for Oct 2, a start and a finish after abt 40 minutes of stitching (and counting a few times, in the wrong and correct spaces).

See all the blank space on the left and towards the top?
That's part of where the October portion of the
Linens and Things 2020 Mystery Sampler is going.

And something is in there
At least a start.
I will be working on this so I can get October done quickly
and stay current.
Otherwise, I will be working here and there on
projects that need more work.

A FINISH !

I have a FINISH.   I have two ANG classes that I am doing virtually.  For Morning Sunrise, I got the last lesson on Monday.  I finished today.  I spent part of last night looking for a replacement thread that I felt better suited the piece.  then got the time to stitch this morning.

The last area to be completed.

Finished !
