A sampling of my designs as well as personal stitching, and life in general.

Despite Memorial day reminders on the blog, I have been stitching and made more progress on my WIPs.   Another finish!

Moonlight Madness is done.  Now I need to find a frame for it and get it framed.  Stitch Maynia is actually helping me make progress.

As for these two.
The one on the left is done maybe.
Missing are the snowflakes.  I'm not sure I want to put in the snow flakes.

The one on the right is missing some snow on the chimney and the beard.
And the other day I out some stitches into it.
Here is the right one now.

Much closer to being done.

Last night I worked on Stars and Stripes but didn't take a photo.
Probably tomorrow.

Hard to believe only 2 more days but still far more WIPs to go.
But come June 1st, I get to make a new start!
I have 3 picked out but have not decided which one yet.

More May Mania

This is what I have worked on this week so far,

This really is a great travel piece.  Stitches here and there do add up.

When I picked this one up on Sunday evening, I only had the white/ecru finished.  I put the large star on Wednesday evening and trimmed it down to prepare for framing.

There is a lot of yellow in this piece.  Not my favorite color but it does work.  Still have a bunch of beading to go.

SAL day

Here goes another attempt to post this.

The last few weeks have had limited stitching time.  Two conferences, a semi-annual meeting and a friend's funeral.  None of this is conductive to trying to stitch, let alone sleep some nights.  For May I have been trying to do May Mania, only my versions was to work on WIPs, not new starts.

Some photos have ben shown already but this is fresh for the SAL group.

Finished pieces up first.

Halloween #1

Halloween #2

Now for the non-finished.

Stars and Stripes
Almost ready for the stars in the sides

Moonlight Madness

Not a lot of progress but it's been a  loooooong time
since I have stitched on it.

This has been handy for the time
not taking notes at one of the conferences.

Don't foget to check out the other stitchers.

I have been busy working on WIPs and I have three finished ones.  Stitching has been hard since I was out of town and am busy with several other projects and not getting enough sleep most days.  Oh yes, there is the hubby who needs care and feeding, the cats and the outdoor work (which is horrid this time of year, it seems like we mow every few days) as well as the grandsons - we still have not made it to one baseball game yet.

But here are the three finished pieces.

Gobble is finally done.

One Halloween piece is for one daughter
and the other is for the other daughter

Both are from Blue Ribbon Designs which actually
has more squares in the pattern.

FOrgive the wrinkles in all, no time for ironing right now.

My May mania is strictly working on WIPs.  I have too many for the moment and I need to finish up some.  I'll have photos later this week-end.
