SAL UPDATE

Yes, it's time for the every three weeks SAL update.   My stitching has been a little bit of everywhere during the last 6 weeks.  I haven't touched my main project for 3 weeks now..   I suspect that I don't want to finish it.  It has been a joy to stitch.  Maybe next time.  Meanwhile...........

St. Sylvestre
Long Dog Samplers

2020 Mystery Sampler
The undone motif is April's
It will reach to the bottom of the flower pot above it.
The left shows the both the top and bottom of the left side.
The bottom left motif is all there.

The Acorn Sampler
This has made slow progress but definitely progress.

I think that this is everything that I had been working on.
I have plenty more WIPs.  Plenty to finish.
and Yet

A new start

I am not currently working it on the stitch gauze
That will come later with more sunshine and less stress.

Meanwhile

The portion with the word SOUL unstitched is a royal pain.
I have all but two of the called for threads
The two threads for this section look the same.
Virtually no differences.
But I tried them - that was the first pass.
I checked my stash again looking for something and found one of the colors called for
Much darker then then the new version.
Now I threw al the colors on the floor where all the sunshine was.
Tried a second combo - no go
Went thru the stash again and came of with two solids in the same family
but one DMC and one Anchor.
Third time was the charm.  At least in my opinion.

I've decided that I need to do some small pieces.
We shall see.

And that's the report for this past three weeks.
Hopefully more stitching next time.
Please visit the rest of the group.
