Kreinik posted this on their blog this morning.
For the safety of our staff, we have decided to close the Kreinik factory until February 5, 2021. Unfortunately we have several crew members out with COVID, and several waiting for test results. We want to make sure everyone stays healthy and returns healthy.
No threads will be made or shipped until we get back on February 5. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times.
Stay safe and healthy!

Projects inspired by Inauguration 2021 - Nimble Needle (nimbleneedlenj.com)
At the bottom is a pattern and threads inspired by Bernie Sanders mittens.
By the way, I have bought things from the Nimble Needle for years - both in person and online. Great shop.
This past week-end I attempted to stitch 24 hours in a 3 day period. I managed somewhere between 20-22 hours. A little crazy around out house this past week-end. This was part of the #24hourcrossstitch group on facebook. A few times a year, we attempt a real 24 hours. BUt there's more fun too. Check them out.
Anyhow now for the before and after photos of the two projects I chose to work on.
Last week-end I did the Hermit stitch week-end and didn't post the done photos. One of them finally showed up today. Really weird! Anyhow how here are the starts and finishes.
ref: the SAL
It came to my attention that my links didn't work yesterday. You need to see everyone's wonderful work. So, I am trying again and hope it works.

It's SAL day. And there is progress.
This weekend is the IHSW. I hope to get a lot of stitching in for a change and definitely enough for a decent post on Monday. I also have a SAL report this Sunday (my every three week report on the project I chose until it is complete). It's getting near the end.
meanwhile
I've been busy with doing running around for my husband. Still waiting to get him an appt to get a vaccine for Covid. I've been the the virtual waiting room for over 3 hours now, just to register for the appointment.. It seems his age will qualify him instead of his medical condition. I'll take any reason to get him qualified for the shot but it really seems to me, age alone shouldn't qualifying him. Oh well.
Meanwhile back to a little humor. The first pertains to hubby some days, sometime the second one as well.
Thought I would do an update after 7 days of stitching(from the 1st to thru the 7th) though technically it is only 6 days of stitching and one non-stitchy day. Whatever, it's an update.
Hard to believe it is the 3rd already. A bit of stitching has been going on. Two new starts from the bag.
First up is Ice Castle - a Mill Hill goodie.
