Progress update.

The Patchwork Quaker Sal is done.

The motif in the center is the one I redesigned.  I used motifs from the rest of the patterns and created a new one.

At long last it is done!

Nov 5 - I'm grateful for technology and yet I am grateful also to deliberately take a day away from it on occasion (like yesterday).

Nov 6 - I am grateful for my parents. They taught me so many unique things. Today is their wedding anniversary. The last one they shared was their 40th anniversary. MY Dad died a couple of weeks before their 41st anniversary. My mom never stopped missing him.

Veterans day is coming soon.

Nov 4- Today I am thankful for the local symphony. During the traditional school year period, they have a classical series as well as a pops series and specials in between, etc.  In the summer, they have an outdoor program from June to Labor day.  The best one is the summer, to me, is the 4th of July, which actually runs 4 days.  I am very appreciate that we have access to this this wonderful orchestra and the ability to buy tickets to the shows we want to see.

Nov 3 - Today I am grateful for my husband. I met him the day after I made a commitment (church-related) and it was perfect timing. Over the years we have joked that he was my gift from God. No joke, he really is.

Today I am grateful for the break in the weather. It has warmed up well past 40 degrees and has stopped raining for several hours. Maybe Noah doesn't have to build another ark.

Well, here it is upside down. You can get the general gist of how much is done and how much to go.

And so starts a month of showing thankfulness or gratitude.

Today I am thankful to be alive and healthy.
