Happy Birthday NSDAR

Happy Birthday to NSDAR!  More commonly known as DAR.

Stands for National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

This is our 125th Birthday.   A long time to be around and we are still thriving, more meaningful than ever.  Today is also our annual day of service.  We do service projects thru the year but this is the day that all members, across the globe,  try to do something on the same day, especially this 125th birthday.

Yes, I am a proud member.  I belong to the chapter named for the very first President General - Caroline Scott Harrison, wife of President Benjamin Harrison.   My chapter does a lot for veterans and active military.  We have several veterans in our chapter membership as well as a member who is active duty and about to be deployed next month.  We do so much more as well.

Do you have a patriot in your family history?
