Bermuda Reef

 Bermuda Reef is a canvas class I am taking from Kathy Rees.  As usual, I love the piece (as I do most of Kathy's pieces, especially the classes).

Here is my progress so far:

As usual (and not intentionally) 

I just kept on going after the first lesson

the top medium triangle was the first lesson.

I really like how it is coming along.

Usually I don't pay much attention to my backs

but I thought that this looked pretty good.

Sorry for all the shadows showing up.

In the non-stitching area of life

My trip to Washington DC was great.

though I nearly froze to death.

I had accidently packed a pair of warm tight instead of stockings

I was so glad.  Though I didn't take any really casual shoes

I took a pair of winter socks which I ended up wearing to bed.

I was really tired by the end of the week and glad to be back home again.

I still need a vacation

the kind without any work.

 Well, having finished DO Different, I have been thinking about two other patterns and simply can't decide.  So please chime in with your comments.

First Photo up is my Laurel Burch Painter Canvas - CATS

I do have parts of the cats done.  The one to the far left has not been started.

  The others have all been started but no one cat has been finished.

The Second Choice is Pandemic by Long Dog Samplers

As you can see, this one needs a long of work as well as the Cats.

OVerdue Sal

 late for the SAl - way overdue  - need to blame my stomach issues  and I need to find a cause for them as well.

Here's Do Different up to date as of the 23rd

and I have lots of obligations in the next 2 weeks.

SAL time

 It's SAL time and the news is disappointing.

We recently lost a member unexpectedly.  Prayers for Carmela's family and thanks to her brother for letting the admin know what happened.  

Secondly, I have been swamped with deadlines of other things, all non-stitching, that my progress is barely there.  My short bursts of stitching during this period have not taken me very far.

so I started previously blank area.

Progress is being made, just more slowly at time than others.
