A sampling of my designs as well as personal stitching, and life in general.

Today I am thankful for my genealogy groups - some are lineage societies which I am proud to belong to, other are groups that celebrate genealogy, no matter where it leads us.  I do admit that genealogy takes almost as much time as my stitching does.

In my case, my oath as an officer never expires

This is where genealogy pays off.
Finding these elusive but important ancestors.

I don't care who you vote for but please do vote.

Today I am grateful to be an American and have the privilege of being able to vote.

Don't forget, Veteran's Day is coming.

Par for the course on a Monday, I'm posting late in the day.

Today I am grateful for my stitching friends - they come from all walks of life, all ages, and shapes, etc.  From chance encounters to EGA members to ANG members and Sampler groups.  Most Mondays I spend my day with a varied group of stitchers and today was no exception.  We stitched, we talked, we ate and stitched more, etc.  I am thankful to have these people in my life.

And now for some stitching photos.

It's been ages since I posted a TUSAL.  so finally here is the most current photo - this evening

Below is what I stitched on this evening
(I forgot a photo of the daytime stitching)

what it will look like

And now a lead in to Veteran's day

Not the exact photo
but that was me many years ago

Today I am grateful for a roof over my head, food on the table (and freezer) and the ability to keep these things.

Too many don't have this available, especially those in Florida without homes after the hurricane.  I think the weather channel deserves a shout-out of thanks for their coverage afterwards.  They showed the drones that ATT sent in to provide internet and phone service, the groups that came and fed people, the power companies that sent people to repair and restore, and so on.  Never saw this on the other news channels.

A little late in the day but still technically on time.

Today I am grateful for the family that has gone before me.

Today is All souls day -  a day to remember those gone before us and helped shape us indirectly.  The day started with Mass for me at my grandson's church.  IT was probably the best All Soul's day mass I have ever been to.

When I think of November, I think of Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving.  Both remind me to be thankful/grateful or whatever word you prefer.  So, November, along with the normal things, will have gratitude for something or someone.  (Hopefully every day)

Nov 1 - Today I am grateful for my husband.  Or union led to 3 wonderful kids and 4 wonderful grandchildren.
