DMC is discontinuing their memory thread. Oh, NO! What to do!!?!  Fortunately, Kreinik has you covered—use their Hot Wire instead.  Hot Wire is size 16 Kreinik braid with wire in the middle so it is bendable.  This nifty article has a conversion chart between DMC's colors and Kreinik's.  They even tell you how to make your own color in memory thread using a regular size 16 braid.

From Chilly Hollow

Back from vacation.  It was so wonderful to soak up some sunshine and warm weather.  Evidently TSA didn't confiscate everything in the suitcase.  The temps are in the 60's today with a partly cloudy sky.  Intermittent rain.  I can deal with that.

I did do some stitching while gone, even ran into some great stitchers from Texas, and we actually know some of the same people.  How amazing was that.
