Can you tell that life has been a bit chaotic around this household?  See Daffycat for an explanation of the TUSAL.  It's fun, it's silly and obviously something that stitchers would do.

Deadlines are nearly over, one major one is done, one major to go and two minor.  Then just the ordinary deadlines of life and various committments.  Who knows I might be need to be committed after this year's volunteer committments.  I hope I'm still sane at the end of the year.

The book list for 2012 has been updated.   An additional blog list has been created - Hoosier Stitchers!
This is my on-line and occasional in person stitching group.  I know that I am missing a few and will be filling them in when I find them again.

It is with great regret that I announce that one of my favorite needlework stores - Needle Fever - is closing as of January 28, 2012.  Today's official announcement was a sad, sad thing.  Saturday will be a day of mourning.

give-aways

I love give-aways but have never won anything.  But here's one that is being very generous.  I admit I like over-dyed flosses and silks.  A free set would be rather nice. And probably only in my dreams.

The deadlines are doing me in along with too many obligations and an injured husband.

a bit crazy

I always start something large and new each year and since my crazy challenge is all ornaments, I thought I'd try a new challenge.  See Becky's blog.  So I hope to start and finish within 2012, Halloween Eve by Blackbird Designs.  We shall see how it goes.

I could be a bit crazy with everything else going on in my life.

This photo reflects where I can imagine Santa has gone now that the holidays are over, most returns have been made, and folks are back to work.  It also looks like somewhere I would like to be.

Warm, sunshine, and relaxing.  Just the opposite of things here, cold (below freezing), windy and generally cranky.

The tree is packed away, along with all the ornaments and other pretty goodies.  I have left 3 winter.snow related teapots out - including the new one I got at Christmas.  I does brighten up my window ledge above the kitchen sink.

I did start a new ornament yesterday.  I have not started anything new yet today (I still have a few hours) but I did finish a medium sized WIP (not on my list though).  Photos is the next day or so.
