Tuesday I totally forgot to give you the links for Ro's Designs and the wonderful shop that the retreat visited.

No new photos for the moment. This week-end I spent a relaxing and fun time at a stitching retreat, taking class from Ro Pace. My ANG chapter (White River) had it's very first retreat and invited Ro to be our first teacher. We stitched Sea Opal - a gorgeous piece!
It was fun, relaxing and tiring - too much to do, too much to stitch, too much to talk about and of sourse, those basketball games in between classes and meals.
Now it's back to reality and everyday life.

Kreinik
It is sad to announce that Mr. Jerry Kreinik, who began Kreinik Mfg with wife Estelle 40 years ago, passed away after a long and amazing life.

Today was a relaxing day of stitching with my EGA group. We stitch, talk, stitch, eat lunch, stitch some more, talk some more - nice and relaxing.
Tonight Dancing with the Stars begins! I admit that I love this show. I admire the courage of the people who learn how to dance thru the season. Take guts to look awful in front of that many viewers. Which is exactly how I would look. I'm tone deaf so I would never hear the proper beat. BUt I can certainly enjoy watching everyone else.

Time Flies!
My how time flies away. I have been so busy this week that I have hardly stitched- horrors! I did do a fair amount of reading and one night when I couldn't sleep, I did genealogy (which has also taken a backseat lately). But I do have two update photos.
First up is the FINISHED, but still unpressed, Home of the Brave. The original chart was done completely in the dark red but as you can see, I made a few changes.

The second is a in-progress shot of Itty Bitty Ornament (over 1 on 32 ct). This project really wears on my eyes. Time to get the glasses checked again.

busy stitching
I've had a good few days of stitching. Saturday was spent with the Hoosiers Stitchers at our monthly stitch-in and I made good progress on Home of the Brave and some minor progress on Jeweled Garden. THen on Sunday I finished Home of the Brave! Photos tomorrow.
Today was a regular monthly EGA meeting. After the business portion, I made more prgress on Jeweled Garden. Both days were also wonderful "catching up" days, just stitching and chatting with friends. I need a few more of those.

Updates
Finally some time for updates and photos.
I'll start with a January start. It's not done and very wrinkled but it has made a bit of progress - Home of the Brave.
Now for an update on one of my WIPs - The Jeweled Garden.
And lastly, a photo for March's question from Lee at http://lakestitcher.blogspot.com/
This is a "Celtic" piece that I designed a few years ago.

New Title photo
I have changed the title photo. I'm so tired of snow!!! IT tried yesterday to snow but didn't stick. Anyhow, the photo is from the Corning Glass Museum of a Tiffany window on display. It reminds me of spring and warmer weather.
Now for a photo of the latest family member. I think you can figure out which baseball team his father roots for.
