Well, the cold from last year lasted most of the month but finally went away.  December was a blur of everything and yet nothing.  This year has seemed to be a huge busy blur as well.  Busy with genealogy.

The grandkids have been the bright spots in 2025, especially the new one born in June - our one and only granddaughter.   Hard to believe but the two oldest grandsons are now freshmen in high school (from 2 different daughters).

Christmas season is here and I am behind in my decorating, both the blog and the house.  Not surprising for as busy as I have been.

Also I have come up with a new way to help me finish projects.  Far too many are in progress.  On the week-end I will pick a project and a blank area on it and work on that for the week and post the following week-end etc.

Christmas first:

Cake to reflect my neck of the woods

Something hot to drink

more snow

a tree for a warmer climate

and for the colder climate

for the foodies

and lastly the best-dressed for the season.

Now for the stitching

Sorry it is sideways, I can't get it to rotate
the left side is the bottom
I chose to work on the left side which shows as the upper part.

The end of the week

I decided to stay with this project
Castles in the Air
by Long Dog Samplers
for the coming week, more on the left side to go.
